I am a passionate and caring educator, dedicated to guiding you on a journey to rediscover your vitality and connect more deeply with your true Self.
Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP)
IBP weaves movement, breath, and sensory awareness to help you reconnect with your body and open pathways toward self-discovery and expansion. This work gently supports your nervous system, allowing emotional and psychological blockages to loosen and shift. Together, we’ll explore the language of your body—how emotions, experiences, and defenses live within you—and uncover how cultivating awareness and release through movement nurture growth and awaken a renewed sense of vitality.
Integrative Body Psychotherapy Practitioner
Gentle. Supportive. Educative.
Yoga and Mindfulness
Bringing more than fifteen years of yoga teaching experience, I weave in a deep understanding of yoga into my IBP sessions, drawing on a wide range of postures, breathwork, and movements to support your journey. With a diverse background in various yoga styles, including Hatha, Restorative, Prenatal, Post-Natal, and Yoga for Cancer Survivors, I have had the privilege of teaching in a wide range of settings. These include therapy centers, yoga studios, private sessions, and community organizations. I take a personalized approach to each session, tailoring my teaching to meet the unique needs of my clients and ensuring a supportive and accessible practice for all.
Psychosocial Support
My approach is inclusive, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of their background, identity, or life experience—feel seen and heard. I am grounded in queer-centered, feminist, and humanist principles. Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating safe spaces for all, integrating a diverse range of tools and practices to foster personal growth. In IBP sessions, I provide psychosocial support through active listening, thoughtful reflections, and collaborative problem-solving.
Having worked as an Intervenor at a sexual assault center for survivors and in a reintegration program for individuals experiencing homelessness, I supported both victims and perpetrators of violence from a trauma-informed perspective. As an Educator in Special Education Techniques, I encourage and teach my students to meet each person exactly where they are with patience, creativity, and a deep respect for their unique pace and process. This background shapes my work in Integrative Body Psychotherapy, where I continue to support individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, navigating challenges, and discovering new ways of being where growth can unfold safely, and at their own rhythm.
